School Policies

DRESS CODE

 

In June, 2010 the Jeannette City School District adopted a new dress code policy which identifies articles of clothing that ARE acceptable to wear. Students can wear ONLY what is listed, anything other than what is listed will be considered a violation.*

 

 

BOYS  - TOPS/SHIRTS: SOLID Red, Blue, or White collared shirt, turtleneck, or button up dress shirt. Powder, navy, or royal blues are acceptable colors, but pink, maroon, and burgundy are not. Solid color sweaters in Red, Blue, and White are permitted but must have a collared shirt underneath it.

                

BOTTOMS: Only Khaki, Black, and Navy dress pants are acceptable. Khaki, Black, and Navy shorts are permitted through the months of April to October.

Elementary students can wear appropriate athletic apparel and must wear tennis shows on their Physical Education Days.

 

Body piercings other than ears are not permitted to be worn in school. Coats, jackets, or garments designed for outside weather are not to be worn in school.
