Checkout Policy and Procedures
Kindergarten and 1st grade may choose one book each week
2nd-6th grade may choose two books each week (additional books will be allowed at the request of a subject area teacher for projects)
Books are due one week after they are checked out. Books may be renewed two times allowing the patron to have the book up to three weeks. It may be arranged to have the item longer if you speak with Mrs. Abel
If the book is not returned by the date it is due, a late note will be sent home with the student each week it is late. After two late notes, a notice will be mailed home. This is only to remind the student to return the book as soon as possible.
No late fines are assessed for any of the students. Payment for the book(s) is only necessary should the book(s) be lost or damaged beyond repair when in a student's possession.
