The Jeannette McKee Elementary School serves the Kindergarten through 6th grade population of Jeannette City residents, educating nearly 600 students. Students attending Jeannette McKee Elementary receive free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Grant. The building is also home to Westmoreland Community Action's Head Start Program as well as the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit's Early Learners Center.
